State Representative, Debbie Phillips, was the keynote speaker; the 5th Annual Art Gish Peacemaking Award went to Christine Hughes for her work to organize a grassroots movement against fracking & fracking waste; and Becca Lachman, the latest recipient of the Art Gish Peacemaking Fund, told us about her plans to run an OU class on peace and war poetry. Rusty Smith and friends played wonderful live music and Frank Norton and Lynette Pillay cooked up some amazing Indian food. Nancy Mingus and Lea Chiki made desert and Casa Nueva and APJN Board Members made appetizers. Volunteers included: David Kurz, Grace Morgan, Lea Chiki & Marcia Goldstein.
